I am Aline, a proud Rio de Janeiro native (Carioca). I came to the United States to raise a family. I am a very proud mother to two incredible young women. My life experiences growing up in one of the most incredible beach cultures, traveling the world, and empowering women, are the inspiration for the AliniBikinis brand. At the core of what we aspire to, is making each of you feel as wonderful, confident, and empowered to have a great day on the beach. Your stories and journeys inspire the AliniBikini brand.
Two decades ago, I made the journey from Rio de Janeiro to the United States. I married and settled into a comfortable life. I still yearned for my beautiful Brazilian beach culture that was core to who I am. I did fall into my routine as a mother but that did not drown out my thirst to expand my horizons and embrace the rich, diverse, inclusive, spirit of New York. This inspired me to show my passion for Brazil to the most diverse international community I had ever experienced, New York City. I successfully opened multiple franchise stores delivering personal care and beauty services. After an eight year run, and very successful journey as an entrepreneur, I decided to take a different direction and inspire women and their beauty in a different way. I reached into my soul and decided to take a direction with a passion that was as natural as breathing. That passion was creating and delivering beachwear to sincerely enjoy a day at the beach.
In 2020 I took a chance and collaborated with a close friend of mine from Brazil. I never forgot the magic of Rio de Janeiro in my soul. I approached my friend and designed a high-end, boutique, hand-made bikini line, that delivers haute-couture, quality, beachwear at a sensible price. The very unexpected and serendipitous action produced a line of affordable, reliable, and empowering beachwear that I humbly offer to you for your consideration.
I started selling AliniBikinis to my friends. I asked my bikini alchemist if she would be willing to make pieces exclusively for AliniBikinis. She agreed, and thus was the birth of AliniBikinis in 2021. The spring/summer of 2021 marked my first official collection in the US.
In 2021, I opened my store in New York. I currently have great clients and strong momentum in the US and around the globe. We are always listening to you, by incorporating suggestions into new lines of beachwear.
I truly love what I do. I love how it makes women who embrace AliniBikinis feel. I draw my inspiration and love for my work from each of you. Thank you for taking the time to read about my passion. I would be honored for you to join our Alinibikinis family.
